SGM Murni Child Development Centre will be showcasing the implementation of the ‘Wow Wild Learn’ (WWL) Programme which was organised collaboratively by the Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC) and Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS). The centre has decided to feature the ‘Saving Panda Project’. It was carried out during the Malay Language lessons via interactive and engaging activities. They also provided the children with an opportunity to have an experiential learning journey at the River Safari.
Through this project, the centre aims to enhance children’s interest and confidence in using the Malay Language while promoting the conservation of animals. In addition, the teachers wanted to provide the children with a more authentic experience in learning the Malay Language. Children were also involved in making a pledge to save the pandas.
